The Long Answer |
After every conflict, there will still be enemies and allies. These relations cause smaller conflicts and those conflicts branch out and build up to bigger conflicts. Also conflict causes economic troubles worldwide. After conflict, many world superpowers throughout history have gone into a depression because of a war. The main point I’m trying to make is that conflict doesn’t end. It is an endless chain the keeps branching out wider and wider until it all builds up to a huge event. Take World War II for example. Near the end of World War II nuclear weapons started being made in order to try to end the war. The US made 2 to drop on Japan. Japan lost hundreds of thousands of lives. That lead to new treaties being made in order to abolish nuclear weapons, which also lead to some countries leaving the treaties. That only caused more conflict which is still going on today. This endless cycle needs to be halted before we get more nuclear weapons.
